Privacy Policy
App: Periodic Table Academy
Contact: gostartapp@gmail.com
Data We Access
- Local Storage – your app preferences (such as whether ads have been removed) are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. They never leave your device. There are no user accounts, no sign-up, and we run no analytics of our own. All learning content — the periodic table, element facts, and animated atoms — is bundled with the app and works fully offline.
- Advertising data (free version) – the free version shows a banner advertisement served by Google AdMob. The app requests only G-rated (general audience) ad content. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as the advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, and ad-interaction events, under Google's privacy policy. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), a consent dialog is shown before any ads load.
How We Use Data
Everything the app itself handles stays on-device. Advertising data is collected and used by Google to serve and measure ads in the free version; we do not receive or store it ourselves.
Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob – banner advertising in the free version, restricted to G-rated ad content. A one-time "Remove ads" purchase permanently disables ads, after which no ad requests are made and the collection described above stops.
- Google Play Billing – processes the optional "Remove ads" purchase. We never see your payment details; your entitlement can be restored through Google Play on a new device.
Children
Periodic Table Academy is an educational app that families can enjoy together. The app collects no personal information itself, has no chat, no social features, and no external links beyond this website and the Google Play store. Advertising is restricted to G-rated content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security & Retention
Your settings stay only on your device; deleting the app deletes them. Data collected by Google for advertising is retained under Google's own policies.
Your Choices
- Remove all advertising — and the ad-related data collection with it — with the one-time "Remove ads" purchase.
- Where the consent dialog is offered, choose whether ads may be personalised.
- Clear app data or delete the app to remove all saved settings.
